12th ANNUAL JUMP, JIVE & WAIL
What a great night! The SOA Jazz Band played Big Band, Swing, Latin, Jazz, & Funk Music. Students and Families had fun. The fundraiser benefited the entire band.

Since making its debut in 1999, Jump, Jive & Wail has grown to attract hundreds of people each year. The event features the School of the Arts' Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Basil Kerr, high school band director for Charleston County School of the Arts.
The School of the Arts Jazz Band and its members have established a reputation as being among the state's best, having earned numerous superior and superior plus ratings as well as seats in the prestigious All-State Jazz Band.
